TrueDim Privacy Policy
TrueDim is a measurement-grade PDF markup app made by Fetzer Architectural Woodwork ("Fetzer"). It is built to keep your documents yours.
What stays on your device
All core features — importing drawings, viewing, measuring, dimensioning, and markup — run entirely on your device. Your documents and marks are stored locally and are never uploaded, analyzed, or shared by these features. TrueDim contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no tracking of any kind.
Sign-in (TrueDim 0.15 and later)
TrueDim is made for Fetzer staff. Starting with version 0.15 the app asks you to sign in
with your Fetzer work email before the document library opens. Accounts are created
by Fetzer, not in the app; sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your work email or a
password you choose. The sign-in runs on Fetzer's own server (pmx.fetzerwood.com)
and stores on your device only a session token, your name and work email.
Your documents and marks are never sent to that server by signing in. A device that has
signed in once keeps working offline. You can sign out at any time from Settings; to have
your account removed, use Settings → Account → Request account deletion or write to the
contact below.
Check-set pairing (internal Fetzer workflow)
TrueDim includes an optional "Check Sets" workflow used by Fetzer production teams. It only operates when you deliberately pair the app with a drawing's check set from a Fetzer company workspace. When paired:
- Your name, work email, and reviewer color from the company workspace identify the marks you make, so reviews carry accountable authorship.
- The marks and review states you create on paired sets sync to Fetzer's internal systems so the review can move to the next person.
This data is used only to run the review workflow. It is never sold, never shared outside Fetzer's internal systems, and never used for advertising or tracking. If you never pair, none of this applies and nothing leaves your device.
Data retention and your choices
Paired-review records are retained in Fetzer's internal systems as part of company project records. You can unpair a device at any time from within the app; local documents can be deleted at any time from the library. Sign-in accounts are kept while you work with Fetzer and removed on request.
